Q: Where were you 10 years ago?
A: 10 years ago I was 18 years old; attending the High School of Art and Design in New York, pursuing my passion for art and design.
 
Q: What’s been your best fashion investment?
A: I think my best fashion investment is my investment in completing my collection in time to showcase with Polyvore. It is an opportunity of a lifetime for emerging designers like myself and it was well worth it.
 
Q: If you could travel anywhere, where would you go to get inspired?
A: If I could travel anywhere that I have not visited yet, it would be the Taj Mahal in Agra, India, a living example of eternal love.
 
Q: What part of designing do you think potential designers would be surprised to learn?
A: I think one part of designing that potential designers would be surprised to learn is having the strength and ability to handle criticism when designing for a client either as a private designer, or a designer for a design house.
 
Q: Every woman should have a ______?
A: Every woman should have a “Little Red Dress”. It is a fabulous color and it stands out.
